Governed by the shifts in seasons and resource availability, this migration stands as an emblem of nature's formidable force. Let's embark on an exploration of Wild Kenya to further immerse ourselves in the marvels of this captivating country, its rich wildlife, and vibrant culture.

December 7, 2023Fort DeSoto, 3500 Pinellas Bayway South St. Petersburg, FL. 33715. Meet at the Mulberry McDonald’s at 6:30 a.m. for a 7:00 a.m. departure. Bring lunch, scopes, binoculars, walkie-talkies, etc. We will hike about 2-3 miles, as well as drive and stop for observation. We will stop at the I-275 North rest area for some birding and restroom break enroute to Fort DeSoto. We will meet at the first pond at Pinellas Bayway, then proceed to the duck ponds. Next, we will proceed to the boat ramp for a restroom break and some birding. The entrance fee to the park is $5 per car and payment is accomplished at kiosks in the park.
